About the role

A highly regarded, established multispecialty surgical practice in Wellington, Florida is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑Eligible General Surgeon with a strong focus in Breast Surgery to join its growing team. The position offers the opportunity to develop a practice centered on breast surgery while maintaining a general surgery component based on the surgeon’s interests and the needs of the practice. The incoming surgeon will join an established surgical group with experienced clinical and administrative infrastructure, strong referral relationships, and a collaborative physician environment. The ideal candidate is a skilled, patient‑centered surgeon experienced in managing both benign and malignant breast disease who values continuity of care, strong relationships with referring physicians, and long‑term practice growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow a breast‑focused surgical practice
• Maintain a general surgery component based on interests and practice needs
• Manage both benign and malignant breast disease
• Build and nurture referral relationships with physicians
• Provide high‑quality, patient‑centered care
• Collaborate within a multispecialty surgical environment

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license

Qualifications

• Strong interest and demonstrated experience in Breast Surgery
• Excellent clinical judgment and surgical skills
• Strong commitment to compassionate, patient‑centered care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable managing benign and malignant breast disease
• Interest in developing referral relationships and growing a successful surgical practice
• Value collaboration, professionalism, and long‑term practice development
• Fellowship training in breast surgical oncology is welcomed but not required
