The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board. Known as the "capital of Silicon Valley," San Jose is located in the center of the Santa Clara Valley and the southern shore of San Francisco Bay. About the Role

We are seeking Board Certified/Board Eligible Surgeons preferably skilled and proficient in Breast Surgery with candidates who are:

• Fellowship trained in Breast Surgical Oncology or
• Fellowship trained in Breast Surgery or
• Fellowship trained in Surgical Oncology or
• Classically trained in General Surgery with significant practice experience in Breast Surgery (without formal fellowship training)

Our Surgical Staff at San Jose specializing in Breast Surgery currently consists of 1 full-time breast surgeon, 1 part-time breast surgeon, and 1 general surgeon who contributes to breast surgery practice (who may transition away from breast surgery to focus on other areas). We also have two surgeons who include breast surgery as part of their practice in the Central Coast (Santa Cruz and Salinas).

General Surgery Call is typically 2-3 calls per month (including one weekend), one minor holiday, and one major holiday call.
