Breast Center Administrative Assistant PRN
About the role
As the Administrative Assistant, you will provide administrative and clerical support to the Department Director and Manager, interacting with physicians, directors, managers, ancillary and department staff to facilitate the completion of department assignments.
Responsibilities
- Prepares correspondence, reports, and materials for presentations with accuracy and attention to detail
- Sets up and coordinates meetings; creates, transcribes, and distributes meeting agendas and minutes
- Answers telephones and handles calls in an appropriate manner
- Meets and greets patients and visitors
- Performs general clerical duties including copying, faxing, mailing, and filing
- Maintains hard copy and electronic filing systems
- Researches, prices, and purchases supplies and equipment
- Demonstrates ability to maintain a safe environment
- Promotes internal and external customer satisfaction
Requirements
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and telephone protocols
- Computer literate with ability to learn new software applications
- CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification within 30 days of hire
- Quality communication skills with the ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Qualifications
- Preferred: High school diploma or GED
- Preferred: 3-5 years technical, clerical experience
