The role of a Breakfast/Lunch Cook involves preparing and serving meals to residents at a senior living facility. The ideal candidate should have experience in food preparation and a passion for providing quality meals.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and serves breakfast and lunch meals according to recipes and dietary guidelines.
- Ensures all food items are fresh and within safe handling temperatures.
- Cleans and maintains cooking equipment and work areas.
- Adheres to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of experience in food service or related field.
- Valid Food Handlers Permit.
Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of kitchen safety procedures.
- Basic computer skills for managing schedules and inventory.
