Job Summary
The Breakfast cook prepares, cooks, and assists in cleaning and serving the breakfast and lunch meal for patients, the Café, and for Meals-On-Wheels. Prepares catering and desserts as needed to maintain patient, employee and visitor satisfaction and consumer demands for upcoming days. Other duties as assigned; may be required to prepare meals for patients and Meals-On-Wheels on weekends and/or holidays.

Shift: 5:30 am- 2:00 pm

Job Requirements
- Reviews menus for meals and upcoming catering to ensure an organized and steady work environment.
- Maintains safe temperatures for prepared meals to prevent food waste and illness.
- Distributes meals to patients to create a welcoming and excellent patient care environment.
- Maintains a clean workspace to prevent food waste, pest infestations, and practice infection control.
- Organizes and arranges delivered goods to maintain an organized and efficient workspace.
- Works well under pressure and can multitask.
Qualifications
- Food service experience preferred, but not required.
- Must be a team player and work well in a team setting.
- Implements effective communication skills.
- Abilities to perform using basic mathematic skills.
