Breakfast Attendant - Holiday Inn Express Grandville

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests in a friendly and positive manner.
• Maintain the breakfast bar in an attractive, organized, and clean presentation.
• Prepare all hot items according to directions and health department standards.
• Ensure all food items are taken down within 30 minutes of breakfast closing time.
• Clean and sanitize tables and chairs as they are vacated.
• Wash and sanitize serving equipment, and return it to storage at breakfast closing.
• Remove trash, vacuum/sweep/mop entire breakfast area, clean public restrooms, wash windows, and other duties as required.
• Prep food for the next day according to hotel occupancies.
• Verify that every item on the invoice is accounted for and stored properly with label and date.
• Set up, service, and tear down meeting rooms as needed.
• Follow all Suburban Inns processes.
• Exhibit regular and recurrent attendance records.

Requirements

• Minimum Knowledge: Ability to interpret/extract information and/or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing. Good communication skills.
• Formal Education and Job-Related Experience: None.
• Licenses, Training, and/or Certifications Required: None.

Pay

Starting at $15/hour - based on experience. This position can be used as a PAID internship.
