BREAD: Vacation Relief Operator/2nd Shift, 6PM-6AM

Fresh. Forward. Flowers. Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE:FLO) is a leading producer of packaged bakery goods. This role involves contributing to the production process, operating automated equipment, and ensuring a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment
• Diagnose and address machinery failures
• Aid in preventative maintenance
• Sanitize all related equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of work area
• Train and operate multiple types of production equipment
• Ensure continuous, efficient flow of materials through assigned equipment
• Verify product quality meets required standards
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment
• Remove defective product and ensure only compliant product moves forward
• Maintain clean, organized work areas
• Complete required documentation and system entries accurately and on time

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus successful completion of a technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair)
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or successful completion of at least 45 college credit hours may be substituted for technical training
• A technical certification course may include the completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair)

Skills

• Master the use of Enterprise software including data input that impacts production and financial systems, data retrieval, reporting, and other functions as instructed
• Act as a member of a highly functioning team
• Ability to move to all production areas and the ability/dexterity to set gauges, dials, guides, and rulers
