About the role

FRESH. FORWARD. FLOWERS. Flowers Foods, Inc. (NYSE:FLO) is seeking a Production Operator III to join our team. This role is physical and requires a strong focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate automated production equipment
• Diagnose and address machinery failures
• Aid in preventative maintenance
• Sanitize all related equipment
• Maintain a safe work environment
• Master use of enterprise software for data input and reporting
• Contribute to maintaining product safety, legality, and quality
• Act as a team member

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of related experience
• High School diploma or equivalency plus technical certification course
• Equivalent military training, other related technical training, or 45 college credit hours

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Technical certification course (e.g., HVAC, auto maintenance/repair)
• Completion of the AIB “Science of Baking” course

• Ability to push wheeled containers weighing up to 2400 pounds
• Ability to push wheeled carts requiring 18 pounds of force to initiate and 10 pounds of force to continue in motion
• Ability to push wheeled modules requiring 25 pounds of force to initiate and 8 pounds of force to continue in motion
