BRD Production Op
Join our team at Barrett Petfood in Brainerd, Minnesota, as a Full-Time Operator in the dynamic world of pet manufacturing. This onsite position offers a competitive pay range of $19.00 - $22.50 per hour.
About the role
As an Operator at Barrett Petfood, you'll be at the forefront of production, driving innovation and ensuring high-quality products for pets. Every day presents new challenges and opportunities to enhance your skills in a manufacturing environment focused on safety and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move oils and finished goods efficiently within the production facility.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure the safe and effective transportation of materials.
- Contribute directly to a customer-centric mission by maintaining accuracy in moving pet products and raw materials.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM (+$1.50 shift differential)
Requirements
- Strong focus on safety, including awareness of surroundings and adherence to safety protocols.
- Attention to detail when handling pet products and raw materials to prevent costly mistakes.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with coworkers and management.
- Problem-solving abilities to tackle challenges during daily operations.
- Proactive approach to learning and understanding manufacturing processes.
- Good physical stamina for maneuvering a forklift and staying active throughout the shift.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking through the factory.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds at times.
