Brazer/Welder - Stabil Drill

About the role

Stabil Drill, a Superior Energy Services Company, provides tough, durable tools to support the energy industry in demanding drilling applications. We are seeking a Brazer/Welder to join our team in Conroe, Texas.

Responsibilities

• Perform brazing and welding on various types of materials using MIG and TIG in both manual and automated applications.
• Manufacture and repair components in the welding shop.
• Fabricate downhole drilling equipment, including stabilizers.
• Work with management to estimate timeframes for welding jobs.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Ensure awareness of and compliance with relevant company and customer QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
• 1 year of welding experience preferred.
• Equivalent combination of experience and/or training.
