Brass Eye Server Assistant

About the role

The Junto is a modern‑day embodiment of Ben Franklin’s club, offering a public gathering space where visitors, locals, entrepreneurs, and artists can exchange ideas and inspire one another. Located in Columbus, the venue includes Brass Eye, an unpretentious rooftop bar that serves as a hub for shenanigans and assemblies. The team seeks an energetic, dynamic, and friendly individual who is just starting in the restaurant world and wants to go beyond a basic menu understanding. This person will create a welcoming environment, ensuring guests can enjoy their food and the ambiance while anticipating and fulfilling their needs.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare tables for dining, fold napkins, clean and place tableware, etc.
• Ensure tableware is in good condition and report any defects for repair.
• Stock, maintain, and clean designated food station(s).
• Assist the server with table service, including running food and serving beverages.
• Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolving issues in a timely, efficient, and friendly manner.

Requirements

• Prior experience highly preferred.
• A proactive and friendly demeanor.
• Able to clear flatware and dishware, clean tables, and replace linens.
