About the role

  • Providing essential care to clients with brain injuries, strokes, and TBI.
  • Serving all aspects of home and community life for clients.
  • Ensuring consistent safety and personal hygiene for clients.
  • Organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment for clients.
  • Supporting clients in shopping, cooking, and cleaning activities.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients with daily living activities.
  • Ensuring consistent safety measures are taken.
  • Encouraging a healthy and professional friendship among clients.
  • Assisting with personal hygiene and dressing routines.
  • Attending and reporting on medical and therapeutic appointments.
  • Shopping, cooking, and cleaning with the client.
  • Organizing consistent exercise, socialization, and entertainment.

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent education.
  • One year of experience working with disabilities (preferred).
  • Car, driver’s license, proof of insurance.
  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Present a letter from a person and/or employer verifying experience.
