Caregiver - CNA/HHA/PCA (Newington)

Schedule
Hourly cases range from 4 to 12 hours at any time during the day, evening, or night. Shifts will be within 30 minutes of your residence.

Our staff of highly trained professionals treats patients holistically, considering family and living situations for the most appropriate care plan.
Responsibilities
- Provides personal hygiene and grooming care to clients
- Assists with toileting, ambulation, and other daily living activities
- Prepares meals to meet clients' nutritional needs
- Reports changes in clients' condition to nurse, supervisor, or client care coordinator
- Performs routine housekeeping and home management duties
- Records each client's care on care plan and submits care plan in a timely manner
- Assists with providing emotional support for clients and their families
- Assists with routine therapy exercises
- Participates in case conferences as requested
- Attends all required in-service education sessions
- Uses computer software programs and smartphones for required education
- Represents the company in a positive and professional manner through high-level customer service
- Demonstrates critical thinking without direct supervision and escalates when appropriate
Requirements
- Must have a driver's license and a car with auto insurance
- One year of previous personal care experience at a facility or agency
- Two years of continuous work experience
- New graduate CNAs are welcome
- Must be comfortable driving within 30 minutes of residence for cases
