The Brand Strategist role is offered by a partner company managing all applications and next steps. This position is based in the United States and offers the opportunity to help leading eCommerce brands through data-driven customer insights and strategic guidance.

About the role

You will act as a trusted partner to brands, helping them optimize retention, customer value, and marketing performance. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone passionate about digital commerce, customer behavior, and growth strategy. You will contribute to the success of innovative brands while expanding your expertise in marketing technology and customer intelligence.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic advisor for a portfolio of eCommerce brands, helping customers successfully adopt solutions, maximize platform value, and achieve growth objectives through actionable insights and best practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a portfolio of global eCommerce brands, acting as a trusted strategic partner.
  • Guide new customers through onboarding processes, ensuring successful implementation and long-term adoption.
  • Provide ongoing training, strategic recommendations, and best practices to help brands maximize platform capabilities.
  • Demonstrate solutions to prospective customers and communicate the value of customer intelligence and retention strategies.
  • Identify customer needs, challenges, and opportunities while proactively recommending solutions.
  • Analyze customer data and business trends to provide insights that support marketing, retention, and growth initiatives.
  • Create educational resources including help articles, guides, case studies, and webinars to support customer success.
  • Stay informed on eCommerce, lifecycle marketing, customer data, and retention trends to continuously improve strategic guidance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to improve customer experiences and contribute to product and service evolution.

Requirements

  • ECommerce-focused professional with experience in customer strategy, digital marketing, and data-driven growth initiatives.
  • Comfortable working with brands, analyzing business performance, and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
  • 2+ years of experience working within a direct-to-consumer (DTC) eCommerce brand, preferably as an eCommerce Manager, Marketing Manager, Growth Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Shopify, Meta Ads, Klaviyo, and other core eCommerce and marketing platforms.
  • Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze performance metrics, identify trends, and connect insights to business outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of customer retention, lifecycle marketing, and growth strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with native-level American English proficiency.
  • Ability to present strategies, findings, and recommendations clearly to clients and stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to establish trust and maintain positive partnerships.
  • Proactive, ownership-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
  • Must be based in the United States, with preference for candidates located in Florida or Texas.
  • Experience with marketing campaign planning, optimization, and execution is preferred.
  • Familiarity with customer data platforms or identity resolution solutions is a plus.
