Job Responsibilities
- Inventory management including monitoring stock levels, reordering products, purchase order receiving and damage reporting
- Retail buying including driving strategy for partnerships, maintaining and growing vendor relationships, wholesale negotiations, inventory optimization
- Product Curation including leading retail curation and serving as liaison between editorial team and Fieldshop retail selection
- Customer care including support for product or delivery questions
- Shipping and receiving including packing and shipping all online orders, receiving and ensuring quality control of products
- Website curation to create and maintain all products on online storefront
- Marketing functions including collaborating with team to create newsletter themes; determining product story/spotlights for the content calendar; ensure visual merchandising is optimal
- Manage Experiential activations including negotiating, planning and staffing retail pop-up events, which may occur after work hours or on weekends
Candidate Requirements
- 3-5 years professional retail management experience, preferably for a lifestyle brand.
- Ability to work independently and adhere to processes, procedures and deadlines.
- Strong organizational and creative merchandising skills.
- Four-year college degree in retail management, marketing or related field, strongly preferred.
- A solid understanding of the G&G brand, voice and aesthetic
