Brand Manager II, Indirect Partners
Remote position based in Dearborn; extensive travel up to 50% throughout the U.S. and Canada required.
About the role
The Brand Manager II, Indirect Channel Partners is responsible for the development and execution of distributor-focused marketing strategies that drive brand growth, demand generation, customer acquisition, and sales performance across indirect, rental, and ASI channel partners. This role brings the Carhartt brand to life across distributor accounts to drive awareness and sell-through of Carhartt uniform sales, aligning with B2B brand objectives and sales goals.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Planning, and internal Marketing partners to develop distributor-specific annual plans and seasonal go-to-market execution.
- Act as a single point of contact with distributor partners, cultivating strong relationships to manage integrated marketing plans that drive ROI.
- Plan, develop, implement, and manage B2B marketing strategies to drive traffic, revenue, brand awareness, and market penetration across Rental, Indirect, and ASI channels.
- Manage complex marketing programs spanning multiple partners, business categories, and marketing vehicles.
- Define and sell-in brand and product communications that inspire both decision-makers and end users to purchase Carhartt uniform solutions.
- Implement, monitor, and optimize the Distributor planning process to drive revenue, increase B2B brand and product awareness, and support corporate sales and marketing initiatives.
- Plan, track, and measure annual marketing budgets for assigned distributor partners, reporting ROI for major programs on a seasonal and annual basis to ensure revenue goals are met.
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Brand, and Product teams to lead the development and activation of creative media, uniform-store, online, and social media tools, as well as custom programming.
- Stay abreast of consumer and competitor trends related to social, online, omni-channel, and B2B behaviors to develop relevant and effective marketing programs that grow the Carhartt brand and business.
- Strategize 3-year vision with mid-level managers, with some involvement at the executive level.
- Navigate mid-to-high complexity of distributors, requiring strong communication and B2B business acumen to create plans and strategy.
- Collaborate with individuals across marketing, buyers, planning, operations, and e-commerce teams for Indirect Distributors, Rental, and ASI.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent years of work experience.
- 8+ years of account marketing or relevant experience.
- B2B experience preferred.
- Strong background in the apparel, retail, or consumer product industry.
- Proven track record of developing and presenting compelling marketing strategies and content at the buyer/marketing manager level.
- Comfortable with executive/leadership presence.
