Brand Manager, Black Forest
Work Location: Chicago. Due to the highly interactive and team-based nature of this role, in-person attendance for most of the workweek (i.e., 3 days or more) is essential for effective communication, strong supervision, real-time problem-solving, and participation in cross-functional initiatives.
About the role
The Brand Manager translates brand positioning and strategies into an actionable go-to-market approach across the U.S. market. This role is actively engaged in key business processes such as Integrated Business Planning, annual brand plan development, portfolio simplification, and long-term innovation pipeline development. The Brand Manager is responsible for both short-term and long-term business planning across base business and innovation, with P&L accountability to deliver brand growth objectives focused on both top and bottom line. This role reports to the Vice President, Global Brands.
The Brand Manager will lead within Ferrara’s community, driving core values of Collaboration, Excellence, Imagination, Respect, and Responsibility.
Responsibilities
- Support the translation of brand positioning and strategies into an actionable go-to-market approach.
- Lead communication and equity development to drive unique, premium brand positioning in the market, considering a multi-funnel, omni-channel approach.
- Lead Brand Marketing projects with commercial implications (e.g., innovation, renovation, price/pack architecture).
- Support cross-functional collaboration across key internal stakeholders (e.g., Brand Marketing, Growth/Innovation, Marketing Services, and Finance) to drive brand strategy and deliver on brand growth goals.
- Lead portfolio management initiatives, ensuring the portfolio is both productive and represents premium brand positioning.
- Pursue continuous enhancement of product quality to strengthen brand equity and extend the gap vs. key competitors.
- Drive development of the long-term innovation pipeline.
- Own Profit & Loss responsibility for the portfolio, managing both topline and bottom-line brand goals.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.

Pay
The salary range for this role is $114,450 - $160,230 annually.
