Brand Manager
About the role
The Brand Manager – Green Gobbler will shape and execute the strategy for how Green Gobbler wins in market. This individual will own the marketing vision for the brand, the brand P&L, lead cross functional teams and go-to-market strategies to deliver against both annual targets and the long-term strategic plan. They will lead brand-building initiatives, drive flawless in-market execution, and lead and oversee all creative and marketing work for the brand.
Responsibilities
- Shape and own the long-term strategic vision and growth strategy for Green Gobbler, defining how the brand wins in market today and over the next 3–5 years.
- Own the brand’s equity, positioning and messaging to differentiate in the marketplace and win with the consumer.
- Lead and oversee all brand-building initiatives, creative development, and marketing execution for Green Gobbler, ensuring everything in market is on strategy, on brand, and driving impact.
- Own the Green Gobbler P&L, accountable for delivering annual revenue, margin, and profit commitments, and for managing risks and opportunities across the business.
- Work with sales and sales strategy for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across the portfolio and key launches.
- Deep experience gleaning consumer insights and leveraging analytics of primary and secondary research, emerging trends, POS results and competitor/category actions to drive revenue or market share improvement.
- Engage and inspire marketing staff and cross-functional counterparts to deliver impactful commercialization plans with speed in the marketplace.
- Develop strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams (Sales, Sales Strategy, Operations, R&D, Finance) to ensure alignment to the brand vision.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in brand or product management in a CPG environment
Experience leading cross-functional teams
Experience managing a P&L
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.

- Able to identify opportunities through brand, consumer and category data, insights, and analysis
- Able to manage multiple work streams and projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Able to capture, document and present - both verbally and in writing - complex information in a succinct and effective manner
- Able to influence, engage and drive results across a wide range of cross-functional stakeholders including executive leadership and external partners
- Knowledge of a variety of market research techniques and ability to utilize appropriate techniques for different objectives
- Strong organization and project management skills
