Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development of private brand products and projects, including product ideation, packaging, branding, and positioning.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for differentiation and growth.
- Collaborate with suppliers, merchandizing, operation and procurement teams to ensure quality, pricing, and sourcing strategies align with company goals.
- Develop and execute marketing and promotional strategies to drive awareness and sales of private brand products.
- Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for optimization.
- Identify and lead strategic corporate initiatives aimed at expanding GMI Corp.’s market presence and business growth.
- Work cross-functionally with operations, finance, procurement, and marketing teams to implement new business strategies.
- Oversee the launch and execution of new business opportunities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
- Develop and manage budgets, timelines, and performance KPIs for corporate projects.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging opportunities to drive long-term innovation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in brand management, marketing, or business development (experience in retail, CPG, or the food industry preferred).
- Strong knowledge of private label branding, product development, and go-to-market strategies.
- Expertise in digital marketing, social media.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strategic mindset with a passion for innovation and business growth.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in interpreting market data and financial reports.
- Proven leadership in cross-functional team collaboration.
