Brand Experience Coordinator
Position Purpose
The Brand Experience Coordinator will manage and enhance the overall brand experience by coordinating financial seminars, managing marketing content, maintaining promotional items, overseeing engagement on digital platforms, and supporting the organization’s community and branch events. This role will also be responsible for tracking budgets and sponsorship requests while leading efforts to ensure branch marketing standards are consistently upheld.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Lead and support the SUN Ambassador program, acting as the liaison to brand ambassadors. Provide guidance and leadership to ensure brand initiatives are effectively represented.
Regularly update content for marketing efforts on the SunHub/Intranet platform.
Monitor engagement on Yelp and Google, paying close attention to ratings and comments. Develop and recommend strategies to improve engagement and reputation management.
Maintain and track stock of promotional items. Process promotional item requests from branches and other departments. Prepare gift baskets for various events and outreach initiatives.
Create and implement branch marketing standards, ensuring consistency across all locations. Communicate changes to marketing collateral to relevant departments. Distribute updated marketing materials to all branches. Conduct periodic audits at branches to ensure compliance with marketing standards.
Ensure the maintenance and relevancy of the Money Edu site. Oversee the creation and updates of co-branded sites. Lead, track, and manage engagement challenges on various platforms. Track and maintain a spreadsheet for budget spend, ensuring adherence to target spend. Coordinate incoming sponsorship requests and oversee the processing of payments. Provide logos, collateral, and promotional items for sponsorship partners. Track sponsorship attendees and manage related reporting.
Maintain branch event setup kits, ensuring they are well-stocked and in good condition. Assist with event setup and breakdown as needed. Arrange for staff and volunteers to support events. Manage the receipt and fulfillment of item requests for events. Track results of events and distribute follow-up emails to participants.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Brand Consistency: How well the brand messaging is maintained across all touchpoints.
Event Success: Metrics such as event turnout, customer satisfaction, and media coverage.
Brand Awareness: Growth in brand recognition measured through surveys, social media mentions, and media reach.
Position Requirements
Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree from four-year College or university preferred; at least 1-2 years of related work experience in a marketing support role or higher. Related work experience may substitute for education, in which case a high school diploma is required.
Key Competencies: Strong organizational and project management skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills, experience with and knowledge of design tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign), firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social, digital, and email marketing, self-starter and able to independently move projects forward, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines, service-oriented, energetic and a team player, self-directed and able to work with minimal supervision, strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports, outstanding ability to multi-task, demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, ensure quality while maintaining a high quantity output, strong project management skills: including managing time, prioritizing, and keeping deadlines, knowledge of CMS (Content Management System), professional appearance and positive attitude to establish and maintain effective business relationships with staff and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of video, photography, and editing a plus.
Familiarity with the financial services industry and credit union operations.
