About the role
Our client, a leading pet insurance and pet services brand, is seeking a Brand Designer to support a range of brand and marketing initiatives during an exciting period of creative growth. This freelance assignment is ideal for a mid-to-senior level designer with strong branding experience who can move seamlessly from concept development through polished execution across digital, social, marketing, and other customer-facing touchpoints.
Responsibilities
- Develop brand-forward creative concepts and visual assets across digital, social, email, web, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
- Translate brand strategy and creative direction into thoughtful, engaging visual experiences across digital and physical touchpoints.
- Partner with creative, marketing, copy, and cross-functional teams to develop integrated campaigns and brand initiatives.
- Contribute to the development and evolution of design systems, ensuring cohesive and scalable experiences across digital products and marketing channels.
- Maintain visual consistency across customer touchpoints while helping evolve the brand creatively.
- Take projects from initial concept through final production, ensuring work is polished, accurate, and production-ready.
- Present creative concepts, respond to feedback, and iterate quickly while managing multiple priorities.
- Support a variety of projects ranging from quick-turn marketing needs to larger integrated campaigns.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in brand design, visual design, graphic design, or a related discipline.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional branding, digital design, campaign, and visual design work.
- Experience working with consumer-facing brands; experience in pet, lifestyle, wellness, or subscription businesses is a plus.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience working with or contributing to digital design systems and scalable visual frameworks.
- Excellent understanding of typography, composition, color, layout, and visual storytelling.
- Ability to work independently and confidently manage projects from concept through final production.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to proactively identify challenges, give and receive feedback, and collaborate effectively.
- Highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable working across a variety of creative projects and priorities.
