Brand Designer
About the role
Parallel is a web infrastructure company whose products are used by leading businesses in sales, marketing, insurance, and coding to build best‑in‑class AI agents with flexible and powerful programmatic access to the web. The company has raised $230 million from Kleiner Perkins, Sequoia, Index Ventures, Spark Capital, Khosla Ventures, First Round, and Terrain, is valued at $2 billion, and is assembling a world‑class team of engineers, designers, marketers, sellers, researchers, and operational experts. Parallel’s design team works for a web used by both people and agents, grounding work in real code, data, and evidence while drawing from the history of the web, computing, and publishing. Life at Parallel is fully in‑person between the Palo Alto HQ and San Francisco office; the organization is flat and talent‑dense, focused on solving technical and creative problems, and guided by values such as owning customer impact, obsessing over craft, accelerating change, creating win‑wins, and making high‑conviction bets. As a senior brand designer, you will be a generalist first with strength in technical storytelling and information design, helping explain a deeply technical product to a wider audience and applying and extending the brand system across all work. You’ll collaborate closely with technical marketing and DevRel to shape narratives from outline to final production.
