About Us
Forus is building an AI-powered network that connects doctors, pharmacies, payers, and biopharma to accelerate new science to patients. Our platform automates the complexity between a doctor prescribing a medicine and a patient starting treatment, including insurance coverage, financial assistance, and supply chain navigation. We provide this support free to doctors and patients, helping them get life-changing medicine faster, cheaper, and easier. The resulting network enables biopharma companies to design better research, launch new drugs more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions.
About The Role
As Brand Design Lead at Forus, you will shape how Forus looks, feels, and shows up across every external and internal touchpoint. You will own and evolve our visual identity, applying it across our website, campaigns, events, content, sales materials, recruiting, video, and the other surfaces through which people experience the company. You will combine exceptional design craft with broader creative direction, setting the bar for our work while building systems that allow the company to move quickly without becoming inconsistent. You will work closely with marketing, growth, product, partnerships, and leadership to turn company priorities into distinctive creative, and lead agencies, freelancers, and other production partners where needed. This is a demanding role, with a high level of autonomy and responsibility. You will be expected to “act like an owner” and commit yourself to Forus’ success.
- Own and evolve Forus’ visual identity and creative direction across web, campaigns, content, events, video, sales materials, recruiting, and internal communications
- Translate company, audience, and campaign objectives into creative concepts that are distinctive, clear, and commercially effective
- Build the brand systems, templates, asset libraries, and guidelines that allow teams across Forus to create high-quality work quickly
- Lead major creative initiatives from concept through execution, balancing strategic direction with hands-on design when needed
- Partner closely with product design to create a coherent experience from the first brand interaction through the product itself
- Source, brief, and direct agencies, freelancers, studios, and production partners while maintaining a consistently high creative bar
- Use AI and emerging creative tools to increase the speed, range, and quality of what our team can produce
Ideal Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience in brand design, creative direction, or visual design, ideally within a high-growth technology or consumer company
- A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft across brand systems, web, campaigns, content, and other digital and physical experiences
- A strong point of view on design and the ability to clearly articulate the reasoning behind creative decisions
- Experience building and evolving a brand system rather than only producing work within an established one
- Experience directing agencies, freelancers, or internal creative contributors toward a unified vision
- Track record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals
