Branch Training Specialist

About the role

Maintain training accountability
Organize new hire orientation and training classes
Assimilate new hires and temps into the work floor
Assess operational training requirements
Partner with supervisors to accommodate training requirements
Provide follow up to training conducted to measure effectiveness

Responsibilities

• Conducts and presents Operations training programs.
• Trains employees at workstations and in the classroom.
• Makes sure training is effective during the orientation period.
• Develops basic training materials and job aids.
• Captures data to improve training programs.
• Creates feedback mechanisms for course content.
• Provides input into the development of a training plan.
• May handle logistical aspects of training.
• Aids in other tasks or projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of Aerospace plant experience, with strong knowledge of all operational positions
• Strong communication skills; ability to adapt communication style based on the learner
• Basic computer skills
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently

SkillsKnowledge of adult learning principals and teaching techniques
