Branch Specialist

Join a Great Place To Work certified company! Consumers Credit Union (CCU) is hiring - Our Lake in the Hills branch is currently seeking a full time Branch Specialist. This is an early career opportunity, interacting with members face to face with a lot of growth potential and the ability to learn about branch operations!

Responsibilities

• Welcome members in the branch and assist with drive-up service
• Guide members through self-service transactions by teaching them how to use the Interactive Teller Machine (ITM) and its features
• Affixing to teller transactions, resolve member service issues, handle account maintenance, and complete operational tasks as assigned by the Branch Manager/Assistant Branch Manager
• Open new consumer accounts efficiently and accurately
• Identify opportunities to refer members to additional products and services (consumer loans, mortgages, and wealth advisory services)
• Recommend process improvements that enhance the member experience and increase branch efficiency
• Follow all policies and procedures, including compliance, audit, quality control, and balancing standards

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of similar work experience (retail, customer service, guest relations, sales, and cash handling).
• Financial institution, Teller, Personal Banker experience is preferred
• Computer proficient in Data Processing Platforms, Email, Internet/Intranet, Instant Messaging, and Microsoft Office
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multitask, work at a fast pace, and stay organized
• Propensity to be helpful, positive, act with integrity, and to embrace inclusion & diversity

Benefits

• The salary range for this role is $16.67 - $25.01 per hour.
• This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.

• You will be eligible to participate in the 401(k) savings plan at any time.

Pay

The salary range for this role is $16.67 - $25.01 per hour. This role is eligible for an annual bonus opportunity.

Schedule

Day-to-day Responsibilities: Available to work 40 hours/week and be scheduled between the following hours: Monday – Thursday: 8:15AM – 5:15PM, Friday: 8:15AM – 6:15PM, Regular Saturdays: 8:15AM – 1:15PM
