Responsibilities
Essential Functions
- Serves as a point of contact for all SAP training, system upgrade coordination, and branch change management.
- Acts as the location’s Training Coordinator for SAP, PC, products, and policy/procedure training.
- Develops and/or reviews proposals for purchasing equipment.
- Coordinates computer, telephone, and equipment changes, upgrades, or problems with corporate staff.
- Supervises all inventory modifications using reason codes in SAP.
- Provides leadership during the annual inventory process and with the Inventory committee.
- Delivers responsive, quality customer service and participates in decision-making based on customer needs, pricing, products, competition, and problem resolution.
- Works closely with sales and marketing staff to support customer-directed product, sales, and marketing programs.
- Provides administrative and operational support for branch purchasing, product evaluations, code descriptions, inventory management, pricing development, and related functions.
- May oversee inventory cycle counting, inventory performance, bin management, return management, and root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
Non-essential Functions
- Assists with scheduling and coordination of product meetings, customer trade shows, and other branch events.
- Approves all inventory returns.
- Responsible for payment of branch bills and donation payments within approved limits.
- Coordinates with Customer Financial Services to resolve customer-billing problems.
- Completes branch reporting as needed.
- May facilitate new employee orientation and onboarding activities.
- Reviews and approves credit invoices.
- May handle facility maintenance.
- Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or designate.
Requirements
- Minimum 2-year business/trade degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Prior supervisory experience with a minimum of 2 years in customer service or sales preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical products and systems preferred.
- Technical ability to understand electrical systems with a minimum of 3 years of prior electrical distribution experience preferred.
- Strong working knowledge of PC for Windows, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint), internet, email, and SAP software.

Pay
Pay range for this position is $66,524/yr. - $97,000/yr., depending on experience.
