Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the management team to learn all functions of Branch Management, including operations, staffing, training, branch assets, expense management, and budgeting.
  • Review, understand, and follow company safety and security procedures, serving as a role model to ensure compliance by all team members.
  • Support team members in their training and development, enabling immediate application to daily work.
  • Maintain a customer service-oriented philosophy in all conduct.
  • Report violations of company policies and procedures, as well as safety concerns, to the management team.
  • Coordinate and communicate with the management team to ensure orders are delivered, inventory is maintained, and records are prepared and stored accordingly.
  • Use a vehicle to deliver orders or pick up returned merchandise in a safe and courteous manner.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of previous warehouse experience.
  • Eligible to work in the country where you are applying.
  • Availability to open and close the warehouse, Monday through Friday, and Saturdays as needed.
  • Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Ability to read and write comprehensive detailed instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Proficiency in basic math skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • Willingness to obtain powered equipment certification.
  • Must meet all applicable state-specific driver’s license requirements prior to driving a company vehicle for delivery duties.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable motor vehicle record (MVR) per department standards.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Excellent multitasking ability.
  • Willingness to evolve and develop personal skills to meet changing environments.
  • Demonstrated self-starter and motivated individual.
  • Ability to challenge upwards with respectful pushback.
  • Willingness to learn new skills and gain knowledge about all aspects of branch operations.
  • Demonstrates critical thinking and prioritization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to high places, fumes, airborne particles, and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is generally high (loud).

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and listen.
  • Frequently required to stoop, kneel, and crouch; occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance.
  • Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Pay

Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range of USD $60,000.00 - USD $65,000.00 per year. Individual pay will be determined by factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
