Branch Operations Intern

About the role

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for our Branch Operations program. As a Branch Ops Intern, you will learn the daily functions and operations of a branch, gain real-world experience, and explore career opportunities within the company. This 100% onsite internship pays $15.00 per hour and aims to offer full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and complete an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and regulatory training.
• Assist in daily loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation, auditing, and preparation.
• Work with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand responsibilities at their levels and explore career advancement opportunities.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the broader Branch Operations division.
• Participate in Branch Operations process improvement projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch experience is highly valued (e.g., Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting).
• Receive an overview of company benefits during the program.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to meet eligibility requirements for insurance licensing, including a criminal background check conducted by the state’s department of insurance.
