Overview
Republic Finance is seeking Interns for its Branch Operations program. As a Branch Ops Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and learn about various aspects of the day-to-day operations of a branch, including the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and branch operations continuous improvement projects.
Responsibilities
- Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
- Absorb daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation for document preparation, file auditing, and preparing files for funding.
- Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their roles and career potential within Republic Finance.
- Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
- Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement related projects (determined based on current Regional Vice President & Sr. Vice President projects).
- Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (such as Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).
- Receive an overview of Republic Finance's benefits during the program.
Requirements
- Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Desired candidates should be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
- Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
- Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Pay and Schedule
The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.
