Branch Operations Intern

Overview

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for their Branch Operations program. This internship offers hands-on experience in various aspects of branch operations and broader organization, including the Republic Way sales and customer service approach, compliance training, loan closing, leadership training, and branch operations continuous improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and go through an accelerated version of the Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and all necessary regulatory training.
• Absorb daily production of loan origination, processing, closings, and fundings, including file allocation for document preparation, file auditing, and preparing files for funding.
• Spend time with your Manager and Regional Vice President to learn about their responsibilities and understand the promotional path within Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and/or workshops to gain exposure to the larger Branch Operations division of the company.
• Learn about one or more Branch Operations process improvement-related projects.
• Gain insight into corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often strongly desired (Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.).
• Receive an overview of Republic Finance's benefits during the program.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Ideal candidates should be eager to learn, enthusiastic, and reliable with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Pay and Schedule

The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.

Qualifications

To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Have a strong work ethic and be eager to learn.
• Be able to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and insurance licensing eligibility.

Schedule

This is a 100% onsite position with a flexible schedule to accommodate academic commitments.

Pay

The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.
