Branch Operations Intern

Overview

Republic Finance is seeking Interns for its Branch Operations program. As a Branch Ops Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in various aspects of branch operations, including loan processes, customer service, and compliance training.

Responsibilities

• Become licensed and complete an accelerated Assistant Branch Manager Program to learn the loan process and necessary regulatory training.
• Absorb daily loan origination, processing, closing, and funding tasks, including file allocation for document preparation, file auditing, and preparing files for funding.
• Work closely with your Manager and Regional Vice President to understand their roles and career potential within Republic Finance.
• Attend regional meetings and workshops to gain exposure to the broader Branch Operations division.
• Engage in one or more Branch Operations process improvement projects, depending on current projects.
• Learn about corporate roles where Branch backgrounds are often valued, such as Audit, Compliance, Training, Recruiting, etc.
• Gain an overview of Republic Finance’s benefits during the program.

Requirements

• Must be a Junior or Senior majoring in Business, Finance, or a related field.
• Desire to learn, enthusiasm, and reliability with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work a minimum of 18-20 hours per week.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Must meet acceptable standards for criminal background history, credit history, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Must be eligible for insurance licensing to sell voluntary insurance products.

Pay and Schedule

The Branch Operations Interns are paid $15.00 per hour, with the goal of offering full-time employment upon successful completion of the program post-graduation.

Schedule

The position is 100% onsite.
