About the role

Moxie Pest Control’s Branch Manager trainee program supports business operations by training leaders to open new locations or strengthen existing ones, driving growth and profitability. This position focuses on learning all aspects of the business and industry to develop pest control technicians into experts. The role provides dynamic leadership to field technicians while improving customer retention.

Responsibilities

  • Create a company culture that embodies Moxie Pest Control’s core values and team talents.
  • Develop leadership skills to prepare for opening and/or running a branch upon completion of the training program.
  • Learn how to hire and develop talent.
  • Train and lead technicians in completing general pest control, mosquito, and termite treatments.
  • Independently create reports and metrics that significantly impact business operations.
  • Consistently learn about pests, products, and treatments.
  • Manage chemical inventory effectively and efficiently.
  • Provide classroom training to new and seasoned employees.
  • Ensure the fleet is properly maintained and cared for.
  • Manage equipment dispersal and maintenance.
  • Complete state-required licensing forms and continuing education credits.
  • Stay within budgets and maximize profits.
  • Obtain proper state licensing.
  • Perform tasks required of employees to ensure job completion.

Requirements

  • Ability to relocate to an open location after 12-24 months of training in Atlanta, GA.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of formulas in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to understand and describe complex problems.
  • Clear understanding of prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Able to execute multiple projects concurrently.
  • Able to articulate honest feedback to supervisor, peers, and direct reports.
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead and manage others.
