Branch Manager - South
About This Role
Re-define the HVAC Industry with Carrier! We're seeking experienced branch leaders to join a growing team in delivering efficient and dependable cooling solutions to customers in the Southern Markets. You will be responsible for leading a team of service technicians and managers, in partnership with Sales and Operations, to deliver world-class customer experience. As part of this innovative team, you'll be responsible for leading change; delivering solutions to our customers and developing people.
What You’ll Do
- Manage P&L and performance across geographical footprint; proactively views the Area monthly/annually with 3/5-year plan.
- Set growth strategy for the market – identifying key customers and verticals and execute on the strategy – proactively expand the footprint in the territory.
- Communicate vision and culture to a team of technicians, service managers, and support personnel, fostering a strong culture of teamwork and evolution.
- Implement culture of safety – be accountable for safety procedures and conduct safety briefings.
- Manage customer escalations.
- Team coaching and development.
- Be involved in community activities past typical HVAC Industry programs/events, building the Carrier Brand in the Area.
- Proactively communicate to leadership on state of the business and implemented actions.
- Manage relationships with internal and distribution partners.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to drive growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of working experience in the HVAC Service industry or High School Diploma/GED and 10+ years of working experience in the HVAC Service industry.
- Valid and current Driver’s License and can be insurable by the company’s insurance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, in Business Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 6 years of commercial HVAC service leadership or equivalent field service leadership experience.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with ability to develop teams and drive accountability.
- Techincal aptitude with understanding of field diagnostics and service execution.
- Strong business acumen with ability to manage financial performance and operational metrics.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with Salesforce, Service Max, ERP/SAP systems, or similar service management platforms preferred.
Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is between $96,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
