About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to oversee the daily operations of a retail banking branch in Queens, NY. The ideal candidate will lead a cohesive, high-performing team that delivers exceptional customer service while ensuring operational compliance and driving business growth within the community.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and mentor branch staff to achieve performance goals and deliver an outstanding customer experience.
- Manage branch scheduling, workflow, and daily operational activities.
- Monitor and safeguard branch assets, including cash management, equipment, and safe deposit boxes.
- Oversee audit procedures to ensure compliance with internal controls, banking regulations, and security policies.
- Administer safety and security measures for staff and customers.
- Build strong relationships within the community to increase visibility and attract new customers.
- Initiate and maintain outreach to potential and existing customers.
- Resolve escalated customer concerns and ensure a positive banking experience.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to implement branch initiatives and strategic goals.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support branch success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in branch banking operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
- Proven ability to cultivate and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel to other branch locations for business purposes.
- Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods.
