This encompasses retail, small business relationships, and community business development. Responsible for branch profitability and branch operations. Reports to: Regional Director Supervisory or Managerial Responsibility: Indirectly, all Branch positions; Directly Member Service Advocates 3, 4 and 5 and Assistant Branch Manager. Contacts: Credit union members, other credit union branches/departments, credit union officials, auditors, vendors, local community members and businesses and all internal staff. Education Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business/Finance or equivalent work experience. Work Experience Minimum 4 years financial services experienceMinimum 2 years of branch leadership experience with at least 2 years of branch management experience as a Branch Manager I Special Training, Certification or Licensure None Work Environment And Conditions May necessitate movement to other branches or departments. Office environment. Essential Responsibilities Demonstrates Bellco’s Act Nice Behaviors and Core Values in all interactions with members, prospective members, and personnel in other Bellco departments.Responsible for overall branch financial results, operations effectiveness, productivity, and cost effectiveness.Gains and maintains a strong knowledge of Bellco products and services and can accurately enter and complete transactions, loan applications and account openings in Bellco systems.Conducts daily huddles and monthly one-on-ones with branch staff.Evaluates, develops, motivates and trains branch personnel, coaches staff in sales and service activities. Ensures branch staff have strong product and process knowledge.Successfully recruits, hires, trains and navigates performance issues, etc. Proactively mitigates risk for Bellco through sound leadership, communication, and guidance of decisions made within the branch. Partners with Regional Director and Human Resources appropriately.Supports company messages and initiatives. Takes ownership of having tough conversations with the team and is an advocate for change.Manages losses and other risk issues and ensures financial losses are within acceptable guidelines.Understands and effectively implements all appropriate regulations.Ensures branch effectiveness and adherence to all branch operations, procedures, and compliance.Maintains thorough knowledge of lending process, Security and Fraud procedures, and functions of all automated equipment. Serves as a branch-wide source of knowledge on credit union operating procedures in order to provide necessary support to branch staff.Conducts ongoing analysis of branch activities, workflow and operations with a specific strategy devised towards meeting corporate goals.Recommends and helps develop and implement new policies and procedures.Assists in defining and developing strategy needed to set or meet organizational goals.Performs other related duties as assigned by management. Skills: Loan experience preferred, Strong interpersonal, sales, and relationship management skills, Strong written, verbal and communication skills, Ability to provide leadership and handle multiple priorities under time constraints, Working knowledge of Microsoft Office desktop applications. In addition to base compensation, Bellco Credit Union offers bonuses for the following roles: Non-exempt branch roles may earn monthly bonuses for meeting production goals and quarterly bonuses for meeting team goals. Exempt branch roles may earn quarterly bonuses for production and team goals. Exempt non-branch management roles may be eligible for an annual managerial bonus. Non-branch non-management roles may be eligible for on-the-spot bonuses for extraordinary performance.
