About the role
The Branch Manager I participates in a comprehensive retail training program while working toward individual business development and sales objectives. This role is responsible for fostering a high-performing sales and service team, ensuring that each member contributes to the branch’s success through a consultative sales approach.
Responsibilities
- Foster a high-performing sales and service team through a consultative sales approach.
- Enhance team performance through individualized coaching sessions and hold team members accountable for their goals.
- Drive business growth through proactive initiatives such as participating in community events and business networking opportunities.
Requirements
- Candidate must have one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree with three years of solid management experience in a retail environment including managing a staff, coaching, and meeting sales goals.
- High School Diploma/GED with seven years of solid management experience in a retail environment including managing a staff, coaching, and meeting sales goals.
- High School Diploma/GED with three years of retail banking experience as a Branch Manager.
- Retail Banking and business development experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Ability to travel as needed to training.
- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle is required.
Skills
- Arithmetic skills to count money accurately.
- Computer literacy to access account information and process transactions.
- Develop a thorough knowledge of Bank products and guidelines by attending the required classes.
- Maintain a professional appearance and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
- Maintain the highest level of professional integrity and ethics.
