What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Financial Advisors (FAs), overseeing their businesses and supporting their efforts to grow the branch.
- Manage and train support staff, ensuring they operate in the best interest of clients through regular communication and supervision.
- Identify and recruit new Financial Advisors, focusing on those with established and clean business backgrounds to enhance branch revenue and talent pipeline.
- Engage with clients and prospects to understand their financial profiles, provide tailored investment services, and assist in achieving their financial goals.
- Oversee branch administration tasks such as budgeting, expense management, facility maintenance, and responding to escalated customer issues.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and Stifel's policies, and address any violations or concerns promptly.
- Perform the duties of a Financial Advisor, including client interactions, portfolio management, and compliance with regulatory standards.
What We're Looking For
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and foster long-term partnerships.
- Strong background in managing investment businesses and ensuring client interests are aligned with the firm's goals.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, particularly when explaining complex financial concepts to clients.
- In-depth knowledge of the financial services industry, including domestic and international markets, and regulatory environments.
- Comprehensive understanding of investment products and services, and the ability to tailor these to meet individual client needs.
- Integrity and adherence to ethical standards, both within the regulatory framework and in day-to-day business practices.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5+ years of Financial Services/Brokerage experience.
Licenses & Credentials
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 and 65 or Series 66.
- Series 8 or 9 and 10.
Systems & Technology
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
