About the role

We are looking for an experienced Branch Manager with Staffing Industry experience to join our busy Partners Personnel team in our Perth Amboy, NJ location. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred. We pride ourselves on the in-person, customer-focused service that we provide at our branches.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and administrative functions at the branch level by utilizing a wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Understand the specific needs and skill sets of the operations team at the branch, our clients and their associates, resulting in a loyal and satisfied workforce.
  • Informs and communicates goals, objectives, and incentives to staff regularly.
  • Establishes and maintains interpersonal relationships; develops constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintains them over time.
  • Leverages recruiting resources and platforms using sourcing tools such as Boolean searching, sponsoring, and advertising using criteria communicated by hiring manager.
  • Coordinates and/or attends job fairs to connect with potential candidates.
  • Completes initial and follow-up associate “quality control” calls, and address employee relations issues.

Requirements

  • Experience in all forms of communication, written and verbal, with supervisors, peers, clients, and/or subordinates.
  • High level of networking and communication skills with the desire to build long-lasting working relationships.
  • Service Orientation — Actively looking for ways to help people.
  • Social Perceptiveness — Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
  • Active Learning — Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Bilingual - Spanish/English Preferred.

Qualifications

  • Staffing Industry Experience Required.
  • Prepared operational budgets.
  • Reviewed KPI Scorecards, compared against the defined branch goals weekly.
  • Addressed Performance Management Issues as they arise.
  • Developed organizational goals or objectives with clearly defined timeframes.
  • Ensured all colleagues in your branch are engaged in margin-generating activities.
  • Prepared operational progress or status reports by meeting regularly with clients to ensure quality of placements and satisfaction with our service.
  • Full cycle recruiting process including sourcing, posting, screening, interviewing, and onboarding and exit interviews.
  • Leveraged recruiting resources and platforms using sourcing tools such as Boolean searching, sponsoring, and advertising using criteria communicated by hiring manager.
  • Coordinated and/or attended job fairs to connect with potential candidates.

  • Utilized internal and external systems and applications to record status and candidate profiles.

Skills

  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of staffing industry practices and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Benefits

We Offer a base salary range of $60k-$70k commensurate with Staffing Industry experience. Compensation is determined based on job-related skills, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. This role may also be eligible for overtime (if non-exempt), bonuses, commissions, or other incentive pay, depending on the position.
