Branch Manager

About the role

Lakes Gas Co. is seeking a Branch Manager to support the Minocqua, WI location. The position requires a Class B CDL with Tanker, Airbrakes, and Hazardous Materials endorsements, a current DOT medical certificate card, strong time management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the direct requests from the Division Manager and Headquarters
• Ensure employee work is completed in a safe and timely manner
• Provide excellent customer service, sales, and conflict resolution skills
• Lead, organize, and supervise the support staff
• Process accurate timecards, route deliveries, maintain and inspect company and customer properties and equipment
• Ensure branch compliance with all of Lakes Gas Co.'s policies and procedures
• Adhere to all Local, State, and Federal laws, including DOT rules and regulations
• Implement all Corporate Programs and initiatives in a timely manner
• Understand job responsibilities of all employees reporting to manager
• Must have technical knowledge and mechanical aptitude to ensure compliance with the inspection, installation, and service of propane containers and appliances including Gas Checks of propane systems to commercial and residential homes
• Comply with DOT drug and alcohol policies and procedures
• Effectively schedule each day to the priorities of the season and available workforce
