Branch Manager

Job Summary

GardaWorld Cash Services is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee operations at our armored transportation and cash processing facility. The ideal candidate should have 5+ years of management experience in transportation or related fields, with a strong background in supply chain logistics, routing, and driver supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all employees at the branch, including supervisors, drivers/messengers, and vault employees.
• Recruit and train new employees.
• Reward, coach, and counsel employees.
• Ensure compliance with DOT guidelines and state/county guard and weapons requirements.
• Daily vehicle assignments, ensuring vehicle safety and fitness through contact with vehicle services department or local vehicle maintenance vendors.
• Supervise vault personnel and assist in vault operations when needed.
• Fill-in on Armored and/or ATM routes when needed.
• Ongoing training and development of team members.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of management experience in transportation or related field.
• Knowledge/experience in Supply Chain logistics, routing, and driver supervision.
• A valid state driver’s license.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record per company standards.
• A high school diploma or general equivalency diploma.
• A bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have or be able to obtain a firearm license.
• Ability to give clear oral and written instructions and have the ability to train and lead armored and CVS employees.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access knowledge is required.
• Must be able to work with spreadsheets.
• Obtain knowledge of the Armored Car Personnel Work Rules or branch labor agreements, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, state guard and gun regulations, and Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Supervisory responsibility for branch headcount varying by branch size, supervising junior management employees, support staff, Crew Leaders, Driver/Messengers, vault personnel, and cash processing staff.
• Work both indoors and outdoors in all types of lighting and weather conditions, including but not limited to heat, sun, rain, snow, and ice.
• Personal protective equipment may be required, such as firearm, holster, and uniform.
