Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding quality service by meeting and speaking with members to identify, match and fulfill financial needs.
- Lead deposit, lending and member service functions for the branch.
- Ensure duties are performed in accordance with established policies, principles and standards.
- Open and support deposit accounts for members including savings, checking, certificates, money markets, IRA, escrow, and holiday.
- Insure these deposit accounts are performed within the policies and procedures of the credit union.
- Take loan applications, perform debt ratio/collateral analysis, obtain approval, close loan and complete file.
- Customize protection solutions for all applicable lending products.
- Meet set individual objective for protected loans and support branch goals.
- Continue ongoing coaching with lenders to ensure protection solutions are presented to members.
- Evaluate work of employees, conduct performance appraisals, hire new employees and other related personnel functions.
- Provide training and assistance to employees to ensure efficient and effective delivery of member services.
- Aid in establishing and developing plans to meet or exceed branch goals.
- Interact with members and resolve member complaints and concerns.
- Remain active in member service function to meet member needs including teller transactions, new account transactions and lending transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in banking, business, management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of banking, member service and/or sales experience; 2+ years of leadership experience.
- Exceptional verbal communication skills, as well as advanced ability to multi-task, prioritize, stay organized, and follow up.
- Familiarity with Microsoft office suite, as well as web-based software and financial services platforms.
- Passion for providing outstanding service to our members – internal and external.
