What You’ll Do
- Develop your team to meet / exceed sales and profit goals by developing a productive, healthy environment where people want to succeed and grow personally and as a team.
- Direct, plan and manage overall branch activities including asset management, customer service, office and warehouse functions, purchasing and production departments.
- Direct accountability for branch profit/loss.
- Identify opportunities and make recommendations to management to maximize sales, increase margins and expand market share.
- Monitor pricing, purchasing and contract adherence.
- Manage inventory and receivables, expenses, inventory matching and accuracy, budget, profit/loss and sales.
- Analyze branch results and implement changes as necessary.
- Maintain accurate, complete and timely records of business transactions.
- Hire, train and develop associates following company standards and policies.
- Conduct associate performance reviews regularly, establish individual goals and ensure completion of relevant training.
Requirements
- 5+ years B2B sales/industrial operational management experience.
- Operations and/or P&L experience a plus.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills.
- Bachelor’s Degree/Equivalent experience may be substituted for degree requirement.
- Hydraulic and/or Fluid Power knowledge a plus.
- Epicor P21 or other ERP experience preferred.
