BRANCH MANAGER

About the role

The Branch Manager is accountable for the overall operation of the ResCare HomeCare or All Ways Caring Branch. The role involves managing all aspects of branch sales and service delivery to meet and exceed financial targets, building and maintaining relationships with key clients and business leaders, and overseeing Human Resources.

Responsibilities

• Manage Quality Management System initiatives; proactively identify and assess potential risks and costs associated with workers' compensation, unemployment compensation, extended payment terms, and bad debt.
• Analyze monthly financial statements for branch and implement strategies to increase profitability; manage operating expenses to maximize contribution; develop and execute branch's annual business plan.
• Maintain strong and positive relationships with referral partners, payor sources, and clients; manage on-call as needed.
• Manage/analyze sales and service processes, including managing assigned territory, conducting recruiting/sourcing sales, campaign/blitzes, identifying leads, conducting cold and canvass calls, setting appointments, creating and developing proposals and pricing models, creating presentations, documenting customer agreements, closing sales, documenting sales activities in client management software system, and completing other required reports.
• Participate in personal care sales programs/contest/meetings, utilize personal care sales tools that support our Sales Philosophy & Roadmap, maintain a thorough understanding of personal care service and product offerings, capitalize on labor/business/community issues to grow market share.
• Ensure sales targets are met, including appropriate mix of industries and service lines; lead branch participation in HomeCare sales programs/contests/meetings, maintain awareness of competitors' strengths and weaknesses, and manage territory to ensure efficient sales strategy for the branch.
• Select, train, and develop staff; monitor and supervise staff performance including setting expectations, coaching, recognizing achievements, demonstrating positive leadership, and cultivating Stars and Legacy initiatives.
• Manage unemployment and workers' compensation claim management for the service team.

Requirements

• 1+ years of supervisory experience required.
• 1+ years of sales or marketing experience in a Healthcare or related setting preferred.
• Experience in managing systems, processes, and people.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and orally with all levels of personnel internal and external.
• Desire and ability to expand and build business relationships.
• Excellent problem-solving skills to handle client and employee issues.
• Ability to work flexible hours and after hours as needed to support business needs.
• BS Degree preferred (business, nursing, social services or related field of study) but not required with equivalent experience.

Salary Range: USD $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 / Year
