Branch Manager

About the role

We are hiring a Branch Manager in Dearborn, MI for Airgas Dry Ice. Located in Detroit/Dearborn, MI (ADI), we distribute dry ice to grocery stores coast-to-coast.

Responsibilities

• Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service
• Nurture inventory levels and balance expenses
• Foster facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards
• Support the outside sales team in nurturing client relationships and exploring new business opportunities
• Process financial transactions accurately and timely
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels for the branch
• Train inside sales associates on product knowledge, company policies, processes, procedures, and safety
• Conduct periodic performance reviews for branch associates
• Act as a bridge between employees and management

Requirements

• Previous management experience in a customer-facing environment
• Background in supporting and leading teams within a retail or industrial distribution environment
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and occasionally up to 125 lbs with the aid of material handling equipment
• Proficient computer skills and an interest in learning new digital tools
• The ability to navigate multiple priorities concurrently
• Self-motivated with a focus on contributing to the overall team's success
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in the welding or safety industry (preferred)
• 3+ years’ experience in sales with proven success (preferred)
