Branch Manager
About the role
We are hiring a Branch Manager in Portland, ME. The position is open and offers a salary range of $70,000 to $80,000 with bonus opportunities. Hours are Monday through Friday, daytime.
Responsibilities
- Promote sales and deliver excellent customer service
- Nurture inventory levels and balance expenses through purchasing
- Foster facility and staff alignment to safety and regulatory standards
- Empower team members to provide efficient customer service, maintain good housekeeping, and enhance operational efficiency
- Build and nurture customer relationships, providing excellent service
- Aid customers with product selection and technical support
- Manage order processing with care and accuracy, and coordinate timely product delivery
- Maintain store operations and support merchandising efforts
- Support and guide direct reports in alignment with organizational policies and applicable laws
Requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the welding industry
- Familiarity with digital tools or basic knowledge of SAP

Qualifications
We are seeking candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of experience in the welding industry and familiarity with digital tools or basic knowledge of SAP.
Skills
The successful candidate will be able to build and nurture customer relationships, provide excellent service, assist customers with product selection and technical support, manage order processing, monitor inventory levels, prepare sales reports, and evaluate performance metrics to guide growth.
