Pay
- $15.85/hourly base pay plus bonus and commission opportunities
- Additional $800 per pay period for the first 13 pay periods during ramp-up

About the Role
At AAA, Insurance Agents serve Members by selling Property & Casualty, Life, and Roadside Assistance insurance tailored to their needs. This role focuses on achieving sales goals while delivering an exceptional Member experience through new business solicitation, servicing existing Members, and policy retention. Agents participate in promotions, events, marketing activities, and cross-selling all AAA insurance products.
This is an on-site position at our Bozeman, MT branch. Must be able to work some Saturdays. An active Property & Casualty license is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Use sales techniques and product knowledge to identify customer-specific needs, generate new sales, retain existing insureds, and grow the insurance book of business.
- Overcome objections to close sales and retain insured Members.
- Meet or exceed sales targets as defined in the sales incentive plan.
- Conduct insurance reviews to identify suitable products and coverage for clients.
- Use provided tools and underwriting guidelines to assess risk, recommend products, quote, bind, and issue policies.
- Build rapport with Members to enhance brand affinity, satisfaction, and loyalty.
- Proactively solicit new business through community events, outbound calling, marketing lists, and cross-selling/up-selling.
- Respond to customer inquiries about insurance products and membership.
- Research and resolve complex customer service issues.
- Assist insured Members in initiating first notice of loss on claims.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Bachelor’s Degree preferred).
- 2-4 years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred.
- Currently possess, or ability to acquire, an active and unrestricted state-issued Property & Casualty insurance license.
- Strong sales skills with a history of developing, tracking, following up on, and closing leads.
- Advanced consultative selling techniques and thorough product knowledge.
