Branch Department Manager I (Ke'eaumoku Branch)
Position Summary
As a Branch Department Manager I at Hawaii State Federal Credit Union, you'll have the opportunity to lead a branch where relationships come first. Essential Duties
- Lead and develop a high-performing branch team focused on service excellence, employee growth, and achievement of branch goals.
- Drive branch performance by deepening member relationships, growing products and services, and supporting business development efforts.
- Oversee daily branch operations to ensure accuracy, efficiency, compliance, and operational excellence.
- Coach and support employees through regular feedback, performance management, and development planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the community while promoting the Credit Union's mission, products, and services.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience
- 5+ years of related experience in Retail Banking or Financial Services.
- 3+ years of leadership or management experience.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of member services, consumer lending, operational controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead teams, develop employees, and achieve sales, service, and operational goals.
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field.
- Previous branch management experience within a bank or credit union.
- Experience leading sales, business development, and community outreach initiatives.
- Notary certified, Medallion, and Licensed Banker, or ability to obtain within the first 12 months.
- Demonstrated success improving branch performance, employee engagement, and member satisfaction.
