About the role
CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country’s largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. The Branch Ambassador is responsible for assisting new hires in getting acclimated to the company culture, fostering a positive environment, and providing ongoing support during their initial period of employment. This position plays a crucial role in executing the Employee Experience Playbook and helping new employees feel welcomed and prepared for their roles within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the face of the company, greeting and assisting new hires, answering inquiries, and providing information as necessary.
- Lead new employee tours, encompassing comprehensive training on Health & Safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Branch leadership to facilitate new employee department placements and communicate with department leaders to ensure readiness for new hires.
- Conduct Day 1 Orientation for All Direct Hire employees and perform Ambassador duties based on designated employee key milestones thereafter.
- Verify accurate setup of all employees in Kronos system and collaborate with HR to rectify any discrepancies.
- Engage proactively in the Branch Culture Committee and contribute to organizing employee appreciation events.
- Provide daily updates to management and ensure effective execution of any changes.
- Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition.
- All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Requirements

- Competent in maintaining accurate and organized records.

- Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation.
- Ability to speak multiple languages.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
Physical Demands and Working Conditions
- Warehouse environment.
- The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary.
- The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary.
- The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.

Schedule
Monday through Friday.
