Responsibilities

  • Machine Setup & Operation – Set up, troubleshoot, maintain, and operate hydraulic presses and TRUMPF TruBend machines to produce parts to internal and customer specifications.
  • Tooling & Adjustments – Change out tools and adjust bends according to punch height and bend radius calculations to ensure quality parts.
  • CNC Programming – Change and/or create bend programs in CAD/SolidWorks to support production requirements.
  • Troubleshooting – Recognize issues with bends and troubleshoot the forming process to identify and correct root causes.
  • Quality Inspection – Check parts using a Romer laser arm and precision measuring equipment to verify conformance to print.
  • Preventive Maintenance – Perform routine maintenance on TRUMPF TruBend machines to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
  • Workplace Organization – Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with company safety and 5S standards.
  • Documentation – Complete all required job documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED; vocational training preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with stamping equipment or metal forming
  • Forklift operator’s license preferred
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong mathematical ability and mechanical aptitude
  • Able to read blueprints and have a working understanding of GD&T
  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
  • Basic CAD and CAM programming ability (SolidWorks experience a plus)
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the shift; must be able to frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds
  • Must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
  • Must be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment that may include fumes, airborne particles, hazardous chemicals, moving mechanical parts, industrial equipment, vibration, and loud noise levels
  • No travel required
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (U.S. Citizenship, Work Visa, or H1B sponsorship); E-Verify employer

Position Type and Expected Hours

This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime as needed. Days and hours required may vary.

Shifts

  • 2nd Shift – Monday–Thursday, 3:30 pm–2:00 am ($1.00 shift premium per hour)
