Responsibilities
- Design and manufacture metal components using various fabrication techniques.
- Operate laser cutting machines to produce precise cuts on metal sheets.
- Utilize turret presses for forming and shaping metal parts.
- Perform welding operations to join metal pieces together.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure product accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to develop new fabrication processes and improve existing ones.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and/or manufacturing.
- Proficiency in using CNC machines, including laser cutters and turret presses.
- Strong understanding of metallurgy and material properties.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Qualifications
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of ISO and other relevant quality management systems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Skills
